an actress, she managed to become a model and participate in some commercials,

made her debut in the film Loafer Telugu. Despite her ignorance of the
language, she received a positive assessment of critics for her acting game.

later, she made her debut in Bollywood in the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story film,
where she played the former beloved of the main character, the film achieved
commercial success and received positive acclaim from critics, and the actress
won several awards for the best debut including Screen Award and Stardust Award
.
In 2017, she
made her international debut in the film “The Armor of God: In Search of
Treasures” with Jackie Chan in the lead role. Her character Ashmita is a young
professor at the National Museum Institute, who helps the main character to
find the treasure. She also took part in a film promotion company in India, the
film itself was a commercial success.
In 2018, the
movie Rebel 2 was released, in which she played the first full-fledged role in
Bollywood and where Tiger Shroff became her partner. Despite the negative
reviews from critics, the film was a success at the box office.
Now Disha is
preparing for the filming of the Tamil film Sangamithra, in which she will
replace Shruti Hassan. The film will be her debut in Kollivude.
