Amala Paul was born on October 26, 1991 , (Age 28 years) in Kochi, Kerala, India to Paul Varghese and Annice Paul. She completed her schooling from Nirmala Higher Secondary School. Then admitted into St. Teresa’s College in Kochi and achieved B.A. degree in English. Amala Paul was passionate about the media industry, and brother Abijith inspired her to continue on the track but the father was strictly against her desire.

Amala Paul started the journey in the media industry with the modeling. At the very young stage of life, she made her debut in the film industry with the movie ‘Neelathamara’ in 2009. By the first movie, Amala was able to draw the attention of all. Already the actress starred in more than 30 movies and win several awards.

In 2010, she acted in the movie ‘Mynaa’ and got Best Actress Filmfare Award– Tamil. Following the year, Amala showed her terrific performance in the ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi’ and got the positive acclamation from the critics. In 2012, her best movie is ‘Run Baby Run’. Amala Paul had been romantically linked with director A. L. Vijay but the pair denied their dating. In early 2014, they formally announced their relationship and declared they are going to marry. The pair married on June 12, 2014. In recent, it is reported that the actress has passed a night with a producer when the news leaked her husband becomes annoyed. After two years together, Vijay filed for a divorce.
